Devin ferreira

Devin Ferreira is an Emmy award-winning recording artist and faculty in the Music Production and Engineering Department at Berklee College of Music.

He was born in New Sharon, Maine and spent his childhood years freestyling, writing, and recording. During his adolescent years, he honed his skills with the rap group, Exodus. He formed a collaboration with an established group, Syndicate Crew and began recording in a professional studio at age 15. At 18, Devin had recorded multiple albums and toured through the region of Central Maine. This experience was formative for Devin as he would attend UMass–Lowell and graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Business in 2007. 

In 2009, he began working with young people in Boston teaching music production and coordinating performances. Along with earning his Master of Education from Lesley University in 2013, Devin has taught music to 7,000+ youth in the Greater Boston area and received a Berklee Urban Service Award in 2014.

Devin has recorded two mixtapes, No Tomorrow Vol. I & II, which were distributed via street marketing to 15,000+ people, while he toured the U.S. Northeast opening for rap icons such as KRS–One and Rakim. He continues to evolve as a professional rapper & recording artist since taking a leap of faith to pursue his music career full–time in December, 2017. 

Since 2017, Devin has released five albums, Urban Classic, Mustard Seed, Seeds of Greatness, Rooted in Faith and his most recent The Garden Project. Devin has earned commercial songwriting success with the Emmy Nominated New England Patriots song “Full Throttle”. He was featured on WBZ-TV 4 News and he won a New England Emmy Award for creating & recording “Unstoppable” which is an ode to the Boston Marathon. Devin is currently working on his newest album at Quad Studios in New York City.
